                        the rangers could only have traded him to boston or new york. Remember, he has a no trade clause, and he said he only wanted to go to one of those two teams. And texas AND arod had tired of the boston talks. So he wasn't going to go there.

                        That being said, this deal is a good one for texas considering who they could talk to.

                        I had the same view, the 'why didn't they have some more teams on the line?!' view but now I realize that this is the best they could have done.
