So who would have thought that when the Dodgers got Adrian Gonzalez in exchange for James Loney that a year later they would essentially be having the same season offensively? Loney really surprising me that he has kept it up after his hot start."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. Well 2013 Gonzalez is still far better than 2012 Loney. I would still expect some regression from Loney. He hasn't been lucky from a BABIP perspective but his HR/FB is high considering his average fly ball distance.NFL: Indianapolis Colts (12-6)

Yes, but I'm just comparing 2013 Gonzo to 2013 Loney. Loney has the 2nd highest line drive % in baseball this year (29%) and continues to square it up. I'm not suggesting they are the same player and in the long run, yes, AGon will be the better player, but a year ago I thought Loney was going to be Casey Kotchman."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. Re: 6/17 - 6/23 Game Discussion Thread
I noticed the Yankees had Jeffrey Maier in the outfield today.
And we are now out of the basement. When was the last time Tampa was 5th this late? I'm guessing Devil Ray era.Last edited by Redacted01; 06-22-2013, 03:37 PM.Comment

Re: 6/17 - 6/23 Game Discussion Thread
Yesterday O'Day got "last laugh" after striking out Bautista and saying (something like "Go Sit down!". Followed by Bautista being like "What'd you say! What'd you say! What'd you say!") and now today, Bautista gets game winning home run off him. 1-1 score now, tomorrow has to be tiebreaker lol.
Due to Yankees winning, Jays now in 4th. Short term that Yankees win was good, but I'd have preferred Rays winning so that it'd be even easier to catch up to 3rd place. lol 1 game ABOVE .500 and last in the division. Only in the AL East...(that same record would be good for 2nd in NL East and 3rd in NL West by half a gameComment
