Man, both the Red Sox and Mariners are wasting chances so far.

I love the King's Court fans at Safeco. Who wouldn't want to wear matching shirts that say "Long Live the King" and chant "K! K! K!..." whenever there's two strikes to an opposing hitter. If this happened every night, it would be annoying, but it's only for King Felix, so it's okay.

Started reading this week's thread and thought I stumbled into the college football forum...who gives a rip which division is stronger? This isn't a beauty contest...win you're division and then win the playoffs. It won't matter what division you were in at the end.

Well Timmy deserved better than what his line showed due to the defense and bad luck, but Harvey is a beast, and if the Giants didn't have Buster Posey I dont think they would have scored a run in 2 weeks.

The Cardinals release Ty Wigginton and trade Mitchell Boggs.

                    Today was a good day.

Phillies get a vintage pitching performance from Cole Hamels tonight and beat the Nationals 4-2. The Phils are now 4-1 on this crucial 10 game homestand that will decide the course of action coming up to the trade deadline. 2 more with the Nationals and 3 with the White Sox this weekend. Hoping for a split of the remaining 2 with the Nationals. Phils have never really hit Jordan Zimmermann all that well. Hoping for a sweep or 2 out of 3 with the White Sox who are horrendous.

And the Rays keep it rolling with their 6th win in a row!

Wild one brewing in the Great Northwest! Sox down 7-6 in 4th... Wow. Jim Joyce is the home plate umpire. Even worse.

I've gotta say, I'm pulling pretty hard for the Phills right now. Not only are they helping out the Braves with their division lead, but they're also delaying the inevitable rebuilding process that they should probably be starting at this very trade deadline.
