    Re: Griffey

as a reds fan...well, i would like to keep griffey for a while to see how his season goes. they need something by the river to continue to sell tickets. with that said, if they could get an ace pitcher or a 2 and a great prospect, then, i would be willing to say bye.

i'd take ortiz or all 3 of the guys mentioned in the article, but the braves are kind of low on pitching at the mlb level right now anyway, so, i don't see it happenning.

moore is an ignorant racist who always calls for the braves to get griffey every year. if any of you have read any of his other articles, you would know what i mean. what is he smoking? Andruw in right field, are you friggin crazy!? Sure, if Griffey was healthy and produced similar numbers as he did in Seattle i'd be all up for it, but i dont know if thats a risk i wanna take. He certainly hasnt proved to me that he can stay healthy. Besides, we already have injury proned JD Drew.

This guy must be a mongaloid. Even if the Braves were to get Griffey why the hell would they move the best center fielder in the NL to right? That would be insane.

I think that if Griffey were to leave the Reds, that he may want to reunite with Lou over in Tampa Bay, and i think that may be the best thing for him, it gets him out of Cincinnati and brings him to a team full of good young players and with a manager who he had his best years with.
