I think that if Griffey were to leave the Reds, that he may want to reunite with Lou over in Tampa Bay, and i think that may be the best thing for him, it gets him out of Cincinnati and brings him to a team full of good young players and with a manager who he had his best years with.

The cheap-*** 'Rays would absorb his humongous contract?" I look at him and it's getting to the point where it's just scaring me. He looks younger but he doesn't carry himself in a younger manner. He's impressive, and I'm glad we drafted him. "

The Reds would have to pay part of his contract, but thats the same if he goes to the Braves, the Braves would not pick up a contract that size, with that said, it does not make much of a difference where you trade Griffey to, the Reds would still have to pay.Comment
