    8/26 - 9/1 Game Discussion Thread

Dwindling down to September. Final pushes for the playoffs will be made.

Red Sox at home all week. 3 vs O's, 3 vs ChiSox. No reason why they can't go 6-0.

Looking forward to 4 games of Tigers/A's. Good week overall for Detroit with Cleveland coming in on the weekend, hopefully the division will be pretty much sewn up by this time next week.

Big series against St. Louis, 7 of the next 10 games are against them.

A Blue Jays win tonight would boost their record against the Yankees in 2013 to 2-15. I'm down with that happening.

I'm really sorry to hear about Harvey, it's not fair.

Todd Helton's padding those HOF numbers with a 2 run shot and Nicasio is looking great tonight on the hill. 7 k's in 4 innings.

Yeah, I don't think Helton is a Hall of Famer, but it's nice to see that he's still contributing to the Rockies.

As a huge Kerry Wood fan, and a fan of phenomenal young pitching in general, the news on Matt Harvey makes this a sad day.

The Jays may suck the big one this season but it's always nice beating the Yankees. It also looks like from what i've read (didn't see the game) that Dickey's recalibration of his pitching philosophy at Rogers Centre is starting to pay off.
