    Yeah, he thought differently. He said he wanted to stay on a team that's close to the coast and that has ST in Peoria/Cactus League. I wonder how the trade would've been if it did happen, of course at that time it'd move Kotsay to RF (his natural position).

    Oddly enough, they've bothed suffered dislocated shoulders early in the season, beats me.

            Actually I wasn't sure, Griffey's had injuries while Nevin just started having them (yeah, little did I know that he'd be out with a seperated shoulder). Griffey had his positives, that being a power hitting left-hander that can hit to all sides of the field. I was glad the trade didn't go through at first, then when Nevin got injured, I then started getting mad that the trade didn't go through, that is until Griffey got injured that it was non-issue anymore.

                  its amazing that two players who were "on top of the world" in terms of their baseball careers would go down the tubes at the same time.....its rather ironic that they were going to be traded for each other as well....pure coincidence, but interesting nonetheless
