    Awww....SO CLOSE!!

I wonder if Yanks fans will ever start to admit that the D-rays kept 'em honest? Yanks BARELY scratch away a win, 3-2 against the Rays. Rivera nearly threw the game away. Abbott held 'em to 2 through 6 innings, the team Torre ran out there today actually looked decent. He reworked the lineup the right way, used the Yanks how they should be used. Still yet the D-rays got close to breaking it open. I mean, I know it's just the start of the season, but I'm betting dime to dollar that it's going to be like this all season long. just you wait.

The Yankees played a bad series opening series, the Devil Rays played a good opening series.

What is your point? The Devil Rays have beaten the Yankees before, and they will continue to do so in the future.

Please, can April just end and the middle of the season begin so everyone doesn't make such a big deal about every single game.

Pretty funny that you have to root for a certain team to lose because your team cant win. On top of that, the AL East is loaded this year so I am not worrying about close games, going to be like that all year.

                  Re: Yanks-Rays

"root for a certain team to lose because your team can't win"? Wait....the D-rays are 2-2...the Yanks are 2-2....and suddenly they can't win? Well they've won two. I'm not rooting against anyone. I may not like the Yankees or the A's, but I don't root for them to lose. I don't want them to lose. However, conversely, There are teams I like more than other teams, and I want them to win. I like the D-rays, I want them to win. I root for them. That doesn't mean I'm counting the Yankees out. Haven't you seen or read anything I've said? I've been giving the Yankees due credit. I do think Torre was being stupid about the Leadoff spot. What are you thinking putting someone who will never be a good leadoff man in that spot?! I'm mad at Torre for doing something that could have caused both losses for all you know. I have respect for "The Boss", he does what alot of teams don't, he uses his cash to make the team better.

                  I'm not AGAINST THE YANKEES.

                  I'm FOR THE DEVIL RAYS.

                  and they CAN WIN.

                  mark my words.
