It doesn't as much because I continue to live in denial.

EDIT: And as I've also mentioned, because I've felt that I would rather face a roided team than a team that knew my pitches, I just don't feel the impact is the same for me. I haven't been upset over the steroid users, really. Maybe it's because Bonds was among the ones named, but I don't actually know if that's why.

      Very fair. Hypocritical, but fair.

Isn't hypocritical pretty much the opposite of fair?

I wish the whole aspect of steroids was more focused on the damage it does to the human body than the damage it does to historical statistics. you dont want the youthful growing up idolising/influenced by what steroids can potentially do for their production on the field. that said, as for Bonds personally, my opinion is the individual sacrifice he made on his body and professional reputation for the financial security of his family cant be understated. HoF'er in my book, not just in baseball, but as a man putting his family in front of himself as well. same for Clemens, McGwire and a couple more names I fail to remember. that's my uncommon opinion/hot take

It was fair that he admitted he is still living in denial about it (sarcastically I assume).

It was hypocritical to say what he did.

I guess I didn't articulate that as well as I could have but I think he understood what I was saying.

The Astros are the poster boy for this nonsense. Until real concrete evidence comes out other teams did the same thing I'm not believing the other chatter.

I think some of y'all are letting them off the hook far too easily. Maybe other teams did cheat and other players are being hypocritical or maybe not. Alot of he said she said.

What we know is the Astros cheated. And that's 100% legit.

I know that this was always the popular argument for steroids (or at least not being anti-steroids), but I never once saw anyone actually argue this point. I think it has always been universally accepted that you can't juice up a AA guy and have him hit 40 home runs against major league pitching.
There was this entire anti-anti-PED argument made to counter an argument that never actually existed.

That universal acceptance has not been my experience, tons of people still think steroids make a star.

Not that that behavior is ok or appropriate at all but just wanna say they might’ve been able to help themselves even slightly there if they at least tried to put on an act and convince people they are sorry and care about what they did even if they really privately don’t. None of their reactions have done anything to quiet things down. Every time one of them opens their mouth about it they say something to make it worse even the owner, and then you have some people out there taking it to that disgusting extreme at them.

You would think they want to get people as upset and mad as possible and be as hated as possible. Reddick decided to add more fuel to the fire himself, he just said days ago that their gonna go out and win and shut everybody up. Might not be the best attitude to take towards it publicly. They haven’t helped themselves at all.

The hell makes someone say the remarks Reddick mentioned about his kids? That is some vile ****.

100% worse than anything Houston did, in regards to electronic sign stealing, and I've been as highly critical of them as anyone. but bringing players health and their family into the mix shamefully crosses the line.
