Cleveland will be meeting with Native American groups regarding their name.

They've already changed their logo (although imo the new logo is horrible since their logo now is literally just a block C. Would've been the worst if not for the Rockies ugly CR logo).

We've seen Redskins and Eskimos dropped already in football, could Indians be next?

If they do change the name, any suggestions? Cleveland Spiders has been a popular one because of the history there. Another former team name which would be a nice one is Cleveland Buckeyes, though I'd imagine Ohio State might not let them. Cleveland Rock would also be a nice name, imagine the logo being a baseball bat shaped like a guitar(or a guitar shaped like a baseball bat?)

Maybe Cleveland Tribe? Cleveland Clevelanders? Something that honors Cleveland. How about bringing back the Cleveland Barons? A former hockey team but I kinda like that name.

I hope the Birmingham Barons have something to say in the matter and Cleveland goes with something different. I originally liked returning to the name Spiders used by another Cleveland team in another league over a century ago, but now I realise Spiders is just too creepy. I wish they'd go with Blue Sox, especially since there's already a Red and a White one, might as well have a Blue one too

I don't know why I always differ from everybody else here on uniforms, but I am just never a fan of these classic looks. I especially don't care much for baby blue (as I mentioned the other day), too much yellow, or brown like the Padres are going with.

I personally think this looks great:





No Nike logo, either.
