Saw it on FB thru MLB on Fox.

The only articles I found stated "overdose MAY have played a part" and then proceeded to state that it would be 2-3 months before we got toxicology results back.

MLB wanting to play regular season games in Europe(and Mexico). I don't like idea of that. Europe especially for regular season. I mean can you imagine some team being in LA on Sunday, going to Europe for Tuesday-Thursday,then having to come back and play in NY or something on Friday. NFL doing it is fine too cause they only play one game for the week, but MLB where there's games basically everyday, don't know how that'd work.

Regular season especially, kinda sucks too, taking away 3 games from a fanbase. Do it in spring training. Jays do their special Montreal trip for final 2 games of ST. If MLB is gonna have stuff in Mexico or Europe, do it for the final 2 games of ST for the teams playing in it.
Agreed. I read that the Pirates are going to play two games in Puerto Rico soon, think as a spring training thing. Wonder if they'll have a Clemente bit.

That's such crap reporting. They know how some people will read that headline.

I wonder if it'll be like how they handled the games played in Japan in 2012 or Australia in 2013(?).

They'll break from Spring Training to play overseas, then return to finish SP?

I think in regards to Europe they'll have to have a stretch in Europe. ST is still a little too cold to go there.

The Blue Jays would be a perfect fit to have a "homestand" in England.

Why the Jays? Unless it's vs the Rays, then I'd be all for it,cause Toronto doesn't care about a Jays-Rays matchup(it's always the least attended series of the year for Jays, one of reasons I hope Rays are moved, could boost attendance for other teams home games when facing Rays as well)

The Cubs are the first team since the 2001 Mariners to win 3 awards in one season.
