ESPNs Dan Shulman is now gonna be (re)joining the Jays TV broadcast team for around 30 or so games in each of 2016 and 2017.

That's Turner Field. They built the Olympic Stadium for the 1996 Olympics knowing that they would then convert it to a new ballpark for Atlanta.

That is what I first thought, but for some reason it wasn't clicking for me. Thank you sir.

                    Re: MLB Off-Topic

According to mlb.com, there are at least nominal discussions in MLB about

                    1) Electronic strike zone (please no. I'm among those that believe the strike zone "data" on tv during the postseason was a little screwy, perhaps intentionally)

                    2) Neutral Site World Series (....please don't...i'd rather see an electronic strike zone...this can't be serious; i can only hope they're making things up at this point)

                    3) Scrapping Divisions and going to 2-leagues, 6 teams in playoffs in each league, 1 and 2 get bye, best of three for 3-6. This I could do, if the best of three were in only one city and the layoff was only 3 days.

No talk of 28-man rosters or ground rule double changes in all of this nonsense?

I wonder if a DH in the NL will ever gain any traction? I'm not really strongly for or strongly against, but imagine Schwarber being able to DH for the Cubs.

What about homefield advantage from the ASG? Is that to stay?

What about the screwy ASG voting process?

What about re-seeding the playoffs after Wild Card or Divisional play?

A fully international draft? Trading of actual draft picks?

Shrinking the strike zone back to reality?

IMO, the game is in good shape right now (probably better than any other time since the '94 strike), but there are lots of things MLB can look at.

There are tons of things the MLB can do to destroy the sport like the NFL and NBA. Let's hope for all our sakes that they don't do any of them.

I've seen a runner from first base cross home plate before the ball bounced over the wall, and he was sent back to third base. There is something a bit wrong about that rule when that happens.

I've seen outfielders suctioned into the wall which allows baserunners to tag up and score from 2B on a sac fly...they should look at that too.
