****, then chances are he's not going to make it out of that.

I just want to say no to this...Tommy Hanson has passed away.

Way too young and enjoyed seeing him play.

Sucks to hear news like that.

To think, just a couple of years ago,he was one of top prospects in baseball. And was only 29

Stunned...I know Hanson didn't pan out, but I always liked him. How does one have sudden massive organ failure?

Terrible news about Hanson. I got to meet him when I was coaching in California and he played for the Angels. He seemed like a great guy.

Wasn't Glavine released (effectively ending his career) to open up a spot on the 40-man for Hanson, so he could be called up?

I remember being upset that Glavine was gone and a buddy telling me not to worry because Hanson would be the right-handed Glavine. For some reason that's always been my memory of Hanson.

Life is just way too short sometimes.

I feel terrible for Hanson's parents. His younger brother passed away in 2012 and now him. Losing both of your children in just a 3 year span. Absolutely horrific. I hope they can get through this.

                              Tragic story about Hanson

R.I.P. I can't imagine having catastrophic organ failure, slipping into a coma and dying at such a young age.

Such a shame... Any details on what caused the organ failure?
