If Cleveland hadn't been chosen as the site of the plague on one night in 2007, is Joba the next great Yankee closer? The world may never know.

I'd love to know what'd happen if Atlanta didn't trade for J.D. Drew...or more importantly, didn't give up Waino.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

What if MLBPA had never blocked the A-Rod to Boston trade?

What if Griffey Jr stays healthy his whole career does he reach 800 Hr's?

What if the Mitchell Report never comes out does Bonds become the first unanimous HOF player?

What if Big Dan Brouthers had been a few inches shorter? Do you think he would've choked up more on the bat and had a lifetime batting average of .400 instead of .342?

I love seeing players show human emotion. Reminds me that they are just like us.

I know we love chastising players when they aren't doing well, but seeing Teix show legit tears when he said, "I wasn't always my best, but I tried my best," makes me empathize for him.

No but I do think if he was a little bit taller he woulda been a balla.

More importantly, would he still have been nicknamed "Big Dan"? We'll never know.

What if Edgar Martinez hadn't torn his hammy during a ST game in Vancouver in 1993?
Would there still have been a dumb Papi/Edgar debate in the HOF thread? Would there still have been mic drops??

Someone may have already posted this but Lucroy talked about getting traded

I still remember Mark Kotsay, one of our veterans, standing up and telling us we didn't understand how hard it was to make it to the playoffs. He told us that guys played their entire careers without making it to the postseason. He said it might not happen for any of us again. I heard that, and I was like, C'mon. No way that's happening. I thought we could go every year. I was spoiled. I was also dead wrong. I learned a lesson from that. Don't take things for granted.
