Oh wow...that one was relatively recent...Maybe I should withhold my praise a bit.

Jeez...There's more that i'd like to say but yeah. Let's not and say I did.

Oh Hader, you are going down.

Tweets surfacing now for maximum effect.

Lesson for PR guys on each club, as soon as a player is brought up to the 25 man roster you look into the social media history of that player and take action if need be. An intern can do it, and whatever man hours you pay for to monitor this doesn't compare to the trouble/headache/PR hit the Brewers organization is going to take in this.

                  Re: MLB Off-Topic

I'm personally more offended that he blew an exhibition game early on than whatever his teenage *** had to tweet. If you taught high school students you'll know what I mean. I don't even bat an eye at it anymore. I know some of you are possibly equally as concerned about the public image aspect of somebody not taking care of that kind of thing, but I'm just simply unfazed with our idiot youth now. I'd like to think he's not a homophobic and racist psychopath, but I am not going to begin associating Hader with "hate
r" until/unless more truth comes out to incriminate him.

On an unrelated note, I think this as happened before (maybe even recently) but I forget the outcome of this sort of thing: what happens when a player who is voted into the ASG is traded to the other league beforehand? Does he play, and for which team?

Yeah, I'm really not in the "he was just a kid" camp. This isn't one or two ill judged, moronic things, it's a giant list of just utter hate and bile. He wasn't 12, he was a grown man when he tweeted those things. He probably has matured now, to the point where he knows what he should and shouldn't say, but I don't for one second think that kind of person just magically has a complete turnaround in all their opinions.

He'll forever be an absolute tool as far as I'm concerned. A complete bigot

I just learned that Willson Contreras, who homered on the first pitch of his ASG debut, also homered on the first pitch of his MLB debut. I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say he's the first person to have ever done that.

I don't know how old he was. I was thinking like 15. Sounds like something that some other people in this generation would run their mouths with. I am by no means calling this normal or condoning it, but I wasn't surprised when I read it either.

I think I'm just desensitized to it is all. Especially with something like an athlete, I've simply lost my ability to be concerned with or care about people that aren't directly in my life a long time ago (with a few exceptions here or there). I mean his first tweet is a line from Semi-Pro. I don't know why he tweeted it and frankly I think Twitter is partially the devil in itself, so I just ignore what people say on there.

There are so many athletes in the world with more long-term and proven heinous acts that I have also admired that I probably couldn't be a self-admitted hypocrite in this case either. Not like I like Hader or anything, though. I didn't even know of the guy until this year.

In closing, most rap really sucks. Doesn't even have to do with whether his tweets are from those lyrics, but it sounds exactly like what they would be. Terribly misused genre culture. But I guess it's okay for rappers to say these things and worse okie.

That's parenting for you these days. Parents have no respect for people so kids don't think they should either.
