Please take your personal beef to PM or another source.

No one cares to read about it.

    ---

So I've seen the list of potential replacements for the Red Sox, but haven't seen one for the Astros. Curious to how quickly both teams find replacements given that Spring Training opens in a few weeks.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I'm just hoping the Angels aren't any part of this. I don't want any shred of evidence to point to Mike Trout not being the true icon that he is today without any shred of doubt.

According to the odds (if I'm reading it right), Varitek is the favorite right now for Boston.

Joe Espada is the name I keep seeing for Houston.

I had heard Varitek and Roenicke as the favorites for the BoSox opening.

Sounds as though the Mets are least entertaining the idea of moving on from Carlos Beltran.

Of all the players.... Even though he's retired. Yeah, I think he should have the same fate.

Varitek yes. Ortiz doesn't want to coach/manage. I really think it's gonna be Varitek, with the next reasonable being Matt Quatraro. He's spent years with Chaim Bloom, and is currently the Rays bench coach. He was a finalist when Toronto was available, but they went with Montoyo.

Ya to a degree it certainly does. Altuve was a mvp in 2017, the year that Cora joined Houston. His mvp year wasnt as much of an outlier in his career as mookies was, but it does make you question it at least a little.

Eduardo Perez would be my personal preferred replacement going off the list provided. I want nothing to do with a Jason Varitek experiment as manager at the moment. That said, I fully expect he gets the job unfortunately.

MLB can't wait to get this thing over with...hand slaps with a paper ruler for the offenders and Josh Donaldson signing is suddenly huge news on MLB TV. Their reaction makes me not care. Just entertain me and take my money. That's all anybody really cares about anyway, right?

I always admire seeing the catchers manage. Plus, he was also captain when he was around. I'm not at all saying he has what it takes to be the manager, I'm just saying it's an "experiment" that I would look forward to seeing.

Eduardo Perez, unfortunately, has one criterion above all else that would make me not want him to be my manager: his voice. But hey, I'm not a player, so by all means if that gets him off ESPN 2 and ESPN Radio, that's enough of a reason for me.

Is that Breslow as in Craig Breslow the pitcher? I know he was always known as a brilliant guy but didn't know he was looking to get into managing.

I could actually see him being a good manager eventually.
