No real Yankee fan should boo Cano, He's basically a legend in my book, arguably the greatest second baseman in Yankees history.

Well this was confirmed today, kinda. He's slated for elbow surgery that may turn into tommy john once they're in there.

Strange, but that's what the team's saying.

Probably not a completely torn ligament. One of my pitchers had this a couple months ago. They'll go in and perform a stress test on the ligament (basically pulling on it to see if it will snap). If it breaks, they replace it (aka TJ), if not, they'll repair the tear but not replace the ligament. That's my guess anyway.

Repair is about a 3 month recovery... so there's that.

Interesting story on a guy I went to high school with.

LOS ANGELES — The story of how Chris Martin traveled from Lowe’s Home Improvement to the Rockies bullpen last Saturday is one of pain, agony…and varnish.

Too bad they didn't rank radio announcers too, Jerry Howarth(Jays) is one of the best I've heard. I agree though that Jays duo of Buck-Pat aren't that great, sucks how their best guy is on the radio.

Jays easily have worst TV commentary duo out of all the Toronto sports teams.

I use to think Buck was okay as a colour commentator but he is just terrible as a play-by-play man. Too much of a homer. Never tells it like it is. (Still not as bad as CBC's Brian Williams who spent large portions of the game commenting about the weather).

The sad part is we use to have Dan Shulman who was great.

So Alexander Guerrero and Miguel Olivo got into a fight in the dugout during their Triple-A game today. Olivo actually pulled a Tyson and bit off part of Guerrero's ear. He had plastic surgery on it today.
