like i said above...idc....Colorado players dont really know what playing a full season is....maybe he got graded on a curve...dont care. Rockies have ZERO titles....will probably never win one either....111 games is amazing...ur right...151 + playoffs + WS TITLE ok i guess.

You actually seem to care quite a bit.

I however, have no dog in the fight, just found your exaggeration and now your sidestepping of it to be kind of funny.

(If you are thinking I'm a Rockies fan that was a wrong assumption).

speaking of Colorado...I've always wondered this....does anyone know if the Rockies went to a dome....would the thin air still play? or would it play like a normal park?

I didn't realize team success has anything to do with a gold glove award.

So I'm writing a research essay for my English Comp class on the advantages of sabermetics vs old school stats. Obviously Moneyball is one source, but does anyone know of any other articles or books addressing the topic? I'm still in the preliminary research phase, but I'd like to have 3-4 solid sources.

                    Thanks!

You should look up some of Bill James' stuff. I believe he has written a few books on the matter.

Everybody in the tread is like "who?" and just moves along.

Meanwhile us A's fans know him as the smartest man in baseball nobody outside Oakland has ever even heard of. I knew Zaidi was moving up at some point. Glad to see him get his shot at GM. Beane just got another rich trade partner.

Reinstated New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez admitted to the use of performance-enhancing drugs during a meeting with the Drug Enforcement Administration in January, DEA documents show.

So Arod FINALLY admitted he used PEDs from Biogenesis(not like we didn't already know)
