Yeah, I'm curious what the ESPN response would be if he'd just signed a reasonable contract to stay

They'd still have to punish him, at least nominally as not only the PA but some players were very aggrieved over his comments and were threatening to cut off access to ESPN. (interviews and whatnot)

Yep, they'd punish him for sure, but who knows what the extent would be, which obviously is something we'll never know, but in hypothetical land I can't help but wonder (even though it's futile and pointless and I've made it known I hate the hypothetical stuff anyway , man it's a good thing I'm not a high profile person or I'd get picked apart by the masses)

          Pedro is awesome.

          His comments on Cowherd:

I’m sorry. He needs to get to my level to answer him. I’m in the Hall of Fame.

The actual number of the Cubs no-hit streak ends at 7,920 games.

EDIT: Can't sleep so I decided to do random research. The Padres are the only team to never throw a no-hitter, and one of 2 teams to never have a player hit for the cycle (Miami being the other). And the Giants have the most players that have hit for the cycle at 25, followed by Pittsburgh at 23, and Boston and St. Louis with 20.

Random/sad admission...I always thought the Mariners logo was supposed to be some sort of mine type of thing. Like those mines you see on minesweeper and stuff lol.

Really enjoyed Biggio's HoF Induction Speech:

I would've loved to see Smoltz unfiltered and without a timer.

Easily my favorite athlete of all time; loved watching him pitch, loved his stuff...I tried and tried in my backyard to repeat his delivery and throw a slider as a kid in the backyard.

                    Loved Smoltzie...kudos HOFer!!

Watched Costas interview Pedro, Smoltz and Randy on his show yesterday. Randy Johnson's career was just a freak show. Perfect game at 40, only had like 10 wins by age 25 when his career was looking like it was going nowhere, then 5 Cy Youngs. Was just an animal on the mound.

This is probably still my fav RJ moment tho, lol

My grandma would attempt to watch baseball to simply give my grandpa company. She always referred to Randy Johnson as the "ugly man".

Looked at Randy's fangraphs and saw his 1998 season which is easy to forget truly what it means to trade for an ace; it's amazing how great that 1998 Houston Astros team was when they traded for Randy. Insane stats.

                            Quick @ Braves note...

Chipper Jones is a lock...I think Andruw will be a compelling case but if Biggio makes it, I think Andruw will. That means potentially 5 HOFs on one team not even including the manager. I don't think that will happen again where that many players play for the same team for such an extended period (when Andruw came on, it was from 1996-2003 all 5 were together).

Not a Mets fan at all, but that is in my neck of the woods(like 10 minutes away), might go check a game out.
