It's also funny how the same manager can look to different teams.

I'd do heinous things to have Girardi managing the Braves, for example.

Saw an article this morning that John Farrell could end up going to the Jays if he wants to.

        UGH!

Most likely in the form of farm director/coordinator. There's no chance in hell he'll have an on field role with the Jays.

Jim Thome is quickly becoming one of the few analysts I'd stop to listen to.

He really is great. Such a good career move for him.

There's no way that should happen. Given the way he basically just used the Jays as a temporary position until his dream job opened back up in Boston, I don't think he should return at all, and especially if it's an on field position, fans will hate that.

Jays management already not on best of terms with fans since they've taken over(some of it justified, other part of it isn't), so bringing back someone who never actually cared to be here would be almost as bad a thing as they could do from a coaching perspective.

Not in the league though. Toronto slots in at 3.

Minus Dodgers-Astros, all other WS matchups I think would make great stories. Biasedly I'd want Cubs-Astros(I'm ok with not seeing Yankees in WS for another decade or two), but Cubs-Yankees I'd love to see too.

And Cubs-Astros would be the first ever meeting between two teams that used to be in the same division.

The exact opposite of the 82 World Series, which was a matchup between two teams that are NOW in the same division (Cardinals-Brewers).

Former White Sox pitcher Daniel Webb died last night from an ATV accident. Terrible news.
