The high school team I coach has the same color scheme. We got new jerseys last year and our alternate hat this year were both inspired by that image. I love all of those designs so much

Hopefully everyone can settle down, let him debut after the extra service time date and move on from there. I'm ready to get a Guerrero jersey sometime this spring /summer. Hopefully he debuts with his regular number.

You have Yankees and Red Sox dominating the AL East and Jays/Rays with 16 top prospects. Glad there's 2 wildcard spots. Who knows what the division will be like in 3 years.

I'd go with the second line going horizontal. Pinstripes for home, the other as road and brown for alternate.

I'm probably in the minority, but I'm not a fan of the grey roads in baseball. I like what the other leagues have with road whites and home colours.

It'll be interesting to see their excuse if they try to do the service time thing. With Gleyber, it was easy because he was rehabbing an injury and then bad during Spring Training. Andujar they called up as soon as they needed him so they didn't have to make any excuse.

If Vlad comes out, rakes at Spring Training, what's there to say? Not like the team is going to be held back by any deficiencies he has in his game. What did the Braves say?

I didn't know an excuse was needed. What if they just came out and said they were doing exactly what they were doing? It's a loophole of sorts, and organizations are exploiting it.

I don't think you can say you are deliberately manipulating the service time, you'd lose the grievance that they'd inevitably file instantly, whereas if they come up with a flimsy excuse then it drags on forever with no outcome. (I think Kris Bryants grievance is still processing)

What about the excuse that we don't think he's ready yet? Spring training is Spring Training. Player A hit .465, do you think he's winning the MVP this year because of his Spring Training stats?

They'll just say as little as possible, probably "polishing his skills" like Bryant, or "making sure he's ready". Anything vague and unprovable will do.

I think there is some sort of plausible deniability as far as future labor negotiations if teams don’t address it outright. They can always say there was some possible reason, which may relieve some of the heat they will undoubtedly get for this practice.

I don't think it's anyone's business but the team's. They should be able to bring him up whenever they see fit for whatever reason they see fit.

No secret his defence is his weakness. They'd probably just say that. Play 3B in AAA for abit to get warmed up for the big league hot corner.

He's ready, everyone knows it, but jays better just bring him up after. Even ticket sales wise, his possible debut if called up later on could actually be a home series VS the Rays, aka the lowest attendance games of the year. Would be a win win to wait.

Everybody and their mother knows the Jays are going to wait out til the service time thing is done. The expectation is Vlad will come up on April 15th.

MLB will be honoring Jackie Robinson all season long in what would've been his 100th birthday.
