i'm going to stop pumping up ra dickey starts and see what happens.

    anyways, great win tonight.

and we can thank Carl Everett for the striking out of the yankee side in the 7th by waiving his no trade clause last year.

And it's just a shame that Palmerio and Jaundo didn't waive theirs last year, or we'd have even more prospects.

Francisco, Almanzar, Cordero. It's looking real good.

What the Rangers need now is for Chan Ho Park to waive his, he looks awful when he pitches in Texas.

The Rangers did get bad news early in the week when it was announced that Colby Lewis will miss the rest of the season after having rotator cuff surgery.

On the other side of the battery, C Gerald Laird could miss up to 3 months if he tore a ligament in his thumb tagging a runner last night, the team has called up Ken Huckaby to take Laird's place for now.

            arrggh.

Drese perfect through 4 and 2/3 and then he gave up two straight solo shots.

I guess I should be glad that he's pitching well though.

Took the first two from the Yankees. We've started to level off as of late but hopefully we can stay on course to finishing .500.

as much as I like RA Dickey, it looks like he's destined for a spot in the bullpen.

Add Chan Ho Park to the walking wounded, Park is expected to miss his next start because of a sore lower back, reality may be starting to set in in Texas, as there already thin pitching takes another hit and just to add injury to insult they had to put both Brian Jordan and Kevin Mench on the D.L..
Between the Rangers and Angels it may be more of a limp than a race to the division title this season.
