I would say its Knoblauch even though we could all agree his throw from 2nd was worse than that batting stance!

Counsell, Batistia and Bagwell definitely have rather unique stances to say the least. But for me, Mickey Tettleton is the one guy who simply amazed me the most watching him all those years in the 80's and early 90's with that batting stance he had. He would be there at the plate just standing straight up in a laid back, almost nonchalant manner, gently holding the bat with his bottom hand and just laying it straight out cradling it on his top hand over the plate, then grip it to swing just before the pitch got to the plate. It used to drive me crazy to see him do that! Every time I'd see him at the plate holding the bat like that I'd think, "How on God's Green Earth is he going to able to hit the ball batting that way?!? If it was me at the plate, I'd have a friggin' death grip on that bat!" But man, he sure could hit that way. True, he punched out a lot of times, but he also got more than his fair share of home runs and extra-base hits. He became one of my favorite players ever because of what he could do at the plate with that crazy stance he had.
And how can anyone forget the corkscrew stance of one Stan Musial! The Man would stand over the plate, feet together and bat straight up, in that hunched over position ready to uncoil like a cobra when the ball approached the plate. He looked like a vulture perched on a tree limb ready to pounce on his prey. Definitely not the most common stance you'll ever see, but did it ever work for him! Truly one of the greatest pure hitters of all time!

Brett Boone's old stance from when he played with the Reds and couldn't hit very well was goofy. He would like try to spank himself with the bat
                  Clemson Tigers
                  Cincinnati Bengals
                  Cincinnati Reds

                        Moises Alou or Julio Franco

Moises looks very painful to me. I can't imagine his knees lasting very long.
