Michael Barkan is going OFF on Papelbon in the post game show. Nice to see the media showing frustration already as well. I never liked the signing of this guy. I would rather have kept Madson last year, without the injury of course.

Damn, Bueherle went 8.2 with 11K's and no earned runs. Where did that come from?

Majingir basically said it earlier tonight but it also comes down to Buehrle pitching the entire ST and more innings in the spring to get him further along than he usually is.

The offense is still a work in progress but if the pitching can hold up than it'll be good. Just wait til Encarnacion gets back on track and the heart of the Jays order could be deadly. I like that Bautista is taking the patient approach and working the count to get HIS pitch. That's what he did a couple years ago when he exploded onto the scene. Hope he continues to go with this approach throughout the year.
