There was a neighborhood play reviewed and reversed today in the Bucs Cubs game. The call was that the throw pulled the fielder off the bag. WTF?


So much grey area in these rules. It's going to force middle infielders to stay on the bag and get hurt. I know we're supposed to let this new thing grow on us but it's messed up. Many changes will be made next year.

Marlins take 3 of 4 from the Rockies at home. Casey McGehee and Ozuna were on fire, Stanton hitting early is a good sign too given his previous early year struggles.

Controversy on a HR call in Cincinnati! Replay coming.

Wild play. Ball appeared to hit off the top of the wall (and yellow line), then bounced back into play where it was caught by the CF. Initial call was a HR I think, but after the review it was ruled a single.

What's the ground rule for HR's in Cincy?

Initial call was an out. They thought it was in and out if Hamiltons glove, and Bruce caught it before it hit ground. Instead it was off the wall. They over turned it but only gave the batter a single and didn't advance the runners that were on 2nd and 3rd. Bases loaded instead of a tie game at least. Ridiculous.

If a call is challenge and it's not reversed, you should be penalized with no mound conferences for three defensive outs.

I was wrong here. Runners were at 1st & 2nd so it makes a bit more sense that nobody scored. Just a bit though.

I hear Rogers is going to build Tampa a new stadium so the Jays never have to play at Tropicana again.

21 consecutive series there without win. Incredible.
