The question is not will they trade him it's when. Benson has run his course with the Bucs and he knows it. Ever since he stepped foot on the mound in Spring Training he's been auditioning for other teams who need an arm down the stretch. All the Pirates have to keep him healthy a create a market for him and they could get a couple young position prospects to really boost their system. The way that the system is stocked with young guns it just a matter of time till he's in another uniform.

This reminds me of several former-Padres, Matt Clement comes to mind, there's a lot of them for me to name. It sucks hearing about and having to see a player that your team raised to get better else where.

I've wanted Benson on the Braves for the longest time, but they don't have a spot for him right now. I think in the right situation, he could flourish. He's got some of the best stuff in the league.
