Best Young Players in the Game

I will just list a few of the best young players in the game.

Albert Pujols - Duh, this is an easy one. He one of the best hitters in baseball today. Only 24 years old, has already had three .300, 30 HR, 100 RBI seasons in a row.

    Last season - 212 hits, .359, 43 HR, 124 RBI, 79 BB, 65 K, 51 2B

Carlos Beltran - Beltran is an awesome young player. He is 27 year old center fielder. He is an awesome hitter with speed. He is also a good outfielder.

    Last season - 160 hits, .307, 26 HR, 100 RBI, 72BB, 80 K, 41 SB, 14 2B, 10 3B

Hank Blalock - Blacklock is an underrated 3rd basemen. He is only 23 years old, and swings a great bat. Had a great year last season, and seems to be getting better.

    Last season - 170 hits, .300, 29 HR, 90 RBI, 33 2B, 44 BB, 91 K

Eric Chavez - Chavez is one of the best 3rd basemen in the league, and is a very good hitter. He is 26 years old, and will a great player for many years.

    Last season - 166 hits, .282, 29 HR, 101 RBI, 39 2B, 5 3B, 62 BB, 89 K

Adrian Beltre - Yeah he had a bad year last season, but he is a really good player. He is off to a great start this season (.368, 9 HR, 24 RBI). Good third baseman also.

    Last season - 30 2B, 23 HR, 80 RBI, .240, 134 hits

Re: Best Young Players in the Game

From what I see, Pujols is 24. January 16, 1980.

Alfonso Soriano - Soriano isn't a great fielder, but he sure can hit. He can hit the long ball and hit one in the gap. He is very fast also. He is off to a great start in a new location this season. (.330, 2 HR, 17 RBI)

                Best season - 2002 NYY - .300, 39 HR, 102 RBI, 41 SB, 51 2B, 157 K, 209 hits, 128 runs

Andruw Jones - Sometimes I forget how old he is because he has been around for so long. He is now a veteran, at 27. He is the best centerfielder in the league, and every nigth you see one of his catches on "Web Gems" Also, a very good hitter with alot of pop. He used to steal about 25 bases a year, but not anymore.

                Last season - 165 hits, .277, 36 HR, 116 RBI, 28 2B, 125 K
