From what I see, Pujols is 24. January 16, 1980.

Alfonso Soriano - Soriano isn't a great fielder, but he sure can hit. He can hit the long ball and hit one in the gap. He is very fast also. He is off to a great start in a new location this season. (.330, 2 HR, 17 RBI)

    Best season - 2002 NYY - .300, 39 HR, 102 RBI, 41 SB, 51 2B, 157 K, 209 hits, 128 runs

And the reason guys like A-Rod, or Jeter are not on here is becuase they have been STARS for YEARS and YEARS.

Pitcher wise, some of my favorites are Mark Prior and Barry Zito. These guys are stars now, but they are still very young.

Mark Prior is a big 6-5 righty who had an awesome 2003 season. He is only 23 years old, and under Greg Maddux, he should get better. He might be the best pitcher in Chicago's big 3 of Prior, Wood, and Maddux.

      Last season - 18 wins - 6 losses. 2.43 ERA, 211.1 IP, 245 K

Barry Zito - Big lefty, with a big 12-6 curve. He doesn't overpower batters, but uses accuracy and changing speeds to get them out. He is 6-4 and only 25 years old.

      Best season - 2002 - 23 wins -5 losses. 229.1 IP, 182 K, 2.75 ERA.

EDIT : Javier Vazquez - His game has been compared to Pedro Martinez. Pitched in Montreal where he had no run support, leading to a bad record. But everyone knows this guy can flat out pitch.

      Last season - 13 wins - 12 losses. 3.24 ERA, 230.2 IP, 241 K , 4 CG

            3a,

bo hart is terrible.. there is a reason he was a career minor league.. he got hot last year and played well for a short period, but he has no patience at the plate and routinely swings and balls in the dirt and out of the strike zone. i know harold reynolds loves the guy, and he did provide a good spark, but he is not an everyday player.

and pujols is 24.. soriano was the one who got the 2 years added on to his age.

Yes, he is kidding. He doesn't like Bo Hart.

I really cannot comment on Hart, as I haven't really seen him play. Looking at his numbers, he sucks.

The Rangers have three more. Unfortunately, none are pitchers.

Mark Teixiera - immensely talented hitter

Michael Young - was a crime that he didn't make the All-Star team last year

Laynce Nix - gritty, tough out.
