Benitez sticks it to the Mets

Way to go Armando. Its awesome to see the Mets-Marlins rivalry revived with both teams in contention this year. Always fun trash talking with NY fans at the Pro. Miami and NY fans were made to hate each other( Heat-Knicks, Fins-Jets) so its nice to see some intensity. Go fish.

He doesnt have nearly the amount of pressure on him now, especially not like the NY media. He can just relaz and play his game. He might give up some runs here and there but if he continues to throw strikes like he is doing then he will be a consistent closer. Thats been the problem w the last couple of marlin closers like looper and alfonseca. they couldnt throw strikes. Anyways go armando. welcome to miami

Alfonseca was horrible. I think he blew a save today for the Braves. Anyway, it was great to see Benitez get another nice save today. He's been lights out lately. I won't make it to the Mets series but I'll be there on Monday for the game against the Reds. Should be a good one.
