just wait till he starts "Blow-netez"ing games.. then you'll say "Why "... & yes he is still gutless for hiting Tino in the back.. maybe the Marlins should trade him to Boston so he can join the other headhunting idiot...

Rosenthaul has overhauled his game. He has made him aware he cant just throw heaters. I doubt u will still see Blownitez. That's just what happens a player leaves the Mets and becomes better.

Re: Benitez sticks it to the Mets

Benitez has always had good stuff, he has just never been able utilize it, maybe Jack McKeon's laid back atmosphere in Florida is what Benitez needs to really be a good Closer.

On a side note: the Marlins have had quite a few Closers since joining the league in '93, lets take a look at the career saves numbers with the Marlins

Bryan Harvey: 51, best: 45
Robb Nen: 108, best: 35
Antonio Alfonseca: 102, best: 45
Matt Mantei: 19, best: 10
Vladimir Nunez: 20, best: 20
Braden Looper: 46, best: 28
Ugeth Urbina: 6, best: 6
Armando Benitez: ?, best: ?

intersetingly, 2 of Trevor Hoffman's 366 career Saves came with the Marlins in 1993 before being dealt to San Diego in the Gary Sheffield trade.
