I usually go early to see BP too but i went to that last ring giveaway and it was absolute madness. Ive never seen anything like it. Thats the only problem ive had w/ a marlins giveaway in years. You can go but dont say i didnt warn u.

LoL, I think we'll be fine. I'll keep you updated on how it goes. Either way should be a fun packed game.

Bleh, I'm sick of all this talk about the Marlins.

They are a blessed team for some reason. Everyone who goes there suddenly revives their career, or begins to play much better than they ever have before. Last year, they made Jeff Conine play like he did 9-10 years ago, and now Benitez looks like Rivera.

I'm so sick of this. Will they get one guy who doesn't play 100% over his head?

Maybe you have to give credit to Jack McKeon and the coaching staff for that. I know that Wayne Rosenthal (Marlins pitching coach) has worked with all our pitchers to get them to fix their mechanics and throw more strikes. He got Dontrelle Willis to make his weird delivery a bit smoother and this season he's been great again. Bill Robinson (our hitting coach) has also been working with new players to get their swinging mechanics on par. Look at what he did with Hee Seop Choi.

Way to go Armando. Its awesome to see the Mets-Marlins rivalry revived with both teams in contention this year. Always fun trash talking with NY fans at the Pro. Miami and NY fans were made to hate each other( Heat-Knicks, Fins-Jets) so its nice to see some intensity. Go fish.

Uhh, when did this "great" Mets/Marlins rivalry start? A lot of people in Florida are Mets or Yankees fans that root for the Marlins as their second favorite team.

Its always technically been a rivalry because we play in the same division but it hasnt really been heated between the fans since the '01 season. Should be a fun year of Met-whoopin
