Maybe you have to give credit to Jack McKeon and the coaching staff for that. I know that Wayne Rosenthal (Marlins pitching coach) has worked with all our pitchers to get them to fix their mechanics and throw more strikes. He got Dontrelle Willis to make his weird delivery a bit smoother and this season he's been great again. Bill Robinson (our hitting coach) has also been working with new players to get their swinging mechanics on par. Look at what he did with Hee Seop Choi.

Its awesome to see the Mets-Marlins rivalry revived with both teams in contention this year. Always fun trash talking with NY fans at the Pro. Miami and NY fans were made to hate each other( Heat-Knicks, Fins-Jets) so its nice to see some intensity. Go fish.
