    Didn't those 4 HR's come against the Reds! Watching him in those series against the Reds made me realize how un-appreciated he really is. If Larkin doesn't go, I would like Wilson or Everett to get it as I think they are the Cream right now.

    I hope Larkin goes, as this is supposed to be his last year. He's announced he will most likely retire at the end of the season.

            Reds uniform for 1 more year.

                  Quite possibly.

                  The thing is, Jack has always been a very good defensive shortstop like Kredit said. I'd rate him above average actually. However, he's never done good with the bat until this year. He was your typical slick fielding, no hit SS. For whatever reason, he's found it this year and is really putting up some good numbers. Maybe he finally matured and is feeling comfortable at the plate?

                    The thing is, Jack has always been a very good defensive shortstop like Kredit said. I'd rate him above average actually. However, he's never done good with the bat until this year. He was your typical slick fielding, no hit SS. For whatever reason, he's found it this year and is really putting up some good numbers. Maybe he finally matured and is feeling comfortable at the plate?

                        Definitly Jack Wilson, he's having a great year, plus he's on the Pirates so even better. But no other shortstop in the NL has really stepped up. Jack's no superstar but he's doing a lot better than most of the other NL SS.

                              Kazuo is the last person I'd expect to see there, he's commited more erros than any other shortstops in the league.
