Brad Miller, June: .298/.355/.512 for a 139 wRC+ (4th among SS) and 1.0 fWAR (3rd). I'd say the Mariners made the right choice at SS.

I mean if you want to completely ignore the first two months of the season, yeah they did. He was possibly the worst hitter in all of baseball during that span.

It's good to see him finding his swing again though. I like the guy.

I dumped him from my fantasy team immediately before he sprouted. Not happy with that at all.

Great to see him start hitting again, but he's gonna have to keep doing that for a much longer time to make up for how horrendous he was the first couple months.

Brad needs to thank Nick Franklin for being equally bad during his time in the show this year lol

A Maddux game (CG < 100 pitches), and no K's or BB's. Pretty impressive

Marte doubles in 2 against the D-backs in the bottom of the 9th. Almost had a HR, so close.

Davis wins it in the 9th.

Everyone had James Shields as the "Worst starting pitcher for KC in 2014," right? Right?

I have no idea how they won that game. Two hits vs Miley, one an infield single by Jordy before getting Walker and Polanco on.

Love having Robinson Cano in this lineup. Even without a lot of power, he has had a very good impact on this offense.

Wow... Yankee broadcast team (Kay/Leiter) really not happy about Jacoby Ellsbury not playing today.

Mariners finish off the sweep in Houston. 9 games over .500. Gained 3 games on the A's in 3 days and are 4.5 back in the west. I'm not sure what's happening, but I'm pretty damn excited.
