So I already know he's a big guy but you don't really notice these things unless they play on your team but jeez, Nolan Reimold is skyscraper tall compared to some of his new teammates.

I know I harp on the Nationals announcers, especially F. P. Santangelo, color analyst, but he really needs to listen to himself after the broadcast. Had 2 beauties last night. Went something like:

"I don't know how this guy is undefeated?"
(re: Strasburg who has the 2nd worst ERA of the Nationals starters)

(While the Nats were down 5-2 in extra innings, Harper throws a ball back into 2nd base that was hit for a single by I don't remember who) "That was just an amazing throw by Harper."

The Nationals can't do a single thing wrong in their eyes. Nothing. Everything they do no matter how small or unimportant it is gets praise like it's something never seen before. It's sickening.

I've seen some Nats games called by their announcers and sheesh, if the PBP guy had some signature call or something they'd be mocked just as much as Hawk in Chicago. Their brand of homerism is almost worse IMO as they try to come off as objective but NEVER criticize their team...EVER.

At least the O's announcers are a little more subtle about it especially when Gary Thorne is on the mic.

What was really special was when they showed some fan pic of what I think was a father and son and referred to them as:

Verlander gives up 5, Ryu gives up 5 thru 2 IP.

Verlander sucks this year. Hopefully it's just recovery from the "core surgery" or whatever it was in the off season since he's getting [roughly] eleventy billion dollars to take a dump on the mound every 5 days

Uh…is this the same Braves team that just won 9 in a row? Holy cow they have sucked the last 3 games.

Well... at least the offense is bailing JV out, gonna need about 15-20 more runs til I feel comfortable

So yeah, was looking forward to going to my first Baseball game of the year, especially since it was Washington vs Baltimore. Get to our seats and it's already showing on the scoreboard that the game has been delayed. About a few minutes after that, we were told to go to the concourse since the weather was about to get ugly and we ended up standing there for about 2 hrs before deciding to head back to the Train and leave smh.

They ended up rescheduling the game for August 4th.

That sucks man. I went to a Red Sox game at Fenway a couple of years ago that was almost rained out. I was getting pissed, but thankfully the rain let up and it was only a 2 hour delay. I got to explore the stadium quite a bit though, which was pretty cool.

That's actually just a bad pun aimed at Baltimore where one of the locally brewed (and oldest) beers is a Natty Boh (Pronounced by some as nati boy).

It's a big thing in Baltimore (not very good IMO) and it was their sad way of making fun of it. So not the way you took it, but equally as bad.
