Tell me you've never taken Ken Rosenthal's tweets as a reliable source of information. If you can honestly say that, then cool, all the power to you.

Now, he tweets out that Lackey has guaranteed his option. This doesn't mean anything? The most reliable reporter in baseball?

Next up, you storm in here, calling me a smartass and a dick. Over baseball. Criticizing someone's character over a game is purely ridiculous and unnecessary. If you think I'm just an advanced stat armchair GM and crap, cool, don't talk to me. Put me on your ignore list. I'm good with that. But you don't need to clog up the thread telling me what a ****ty person I am. It's unnecessary. So show yourself out like you said, or put me on IL, whatever. But there's absolutely no reason you can't just ignore what I say rather than starting the name calling.

Very interesting, stacking cards for Price, if fails back to Miller?

Solid deal, I like Almonte more than everyone though haha. Can't even say why, the guy carries himself well out at CF.

I highly doubt the Cardinals will land Price unless they're somehow able to get him without giving up Taveras. And with things getting crazy and teams upping their offer, I don't see that happening.

I'm not hanging on every report tweeted, nor do I follow Rosenthal. I was going by an opinion many and myself share. That Lackey will not pitch at that price next year. And as soon as countryboy and I expressed that thought, here you come with the lol's. Thus, acting like a smartass. I did not single you out, bud. You replied to me and I followed with a response. Just calling it as I see it.

Yeah the only way I see the Cards landing Price is if they give up Taveras. Somehow I don't see that happening.

If we give up Taveras to get Price, after we just unloaded Craig for Lackey, I'll become a Reds fan.

If not Tavares then the Cards would have to give up multiple young pitchers in that case. Miller/Martinez/Wacha/Gonzalez.

Yeah that's exactly what I'm saying. I don't think the Cardinals will get Price. Trading Craig is a way for the Cardinals to go all-in on Taveras. Mo has said he was never even talked about in discussions and I believe him. He's their guy.

Edit: ShowTyme, I agree. Shelby and Martinez would must be in the offer. Maybe Piscotty along with them.

As for Wacha, even though he's had his injury, I still think he should be untouchable.
