The Blue Jays swan dive of death continues.....I'll be keeping one eye on that and another on the Royals. KC is my team to cheer for if they make the playoffs.

Mariners coming off the strangest yet most satisfying sweep of the Red Sox. The top 3 starters for the Mariners all pitched poorly, but miraculously, the offense picked them up. First time in franchise history they've ever swept a 3 game series in Fenway.

You and me both. Was nice to see the Phils take 2 of 3 from both Seattle and St. Louis last week. I just wish Sandberg would stop it with Brown in left field.

Shin-Soo Choo done for the season and Yu Darvish possibly as well. Has there ever been a team in history with as many injuries in one season as the Rangers? It's like the plague hit that team or something.

Home run derby in Baltimore tonight. Only the 5th inning and the Orioles already have 5 home runs.

Nick Markakis and Steve Pearce went back-to-back in the 3rd and Delmon Young, J.J. Hardy, and Chris Davis went back-to-back-to-back in the 5th.

Damn.

I enjoy hearing Gary Thorne call home runs.

You know what I learned tonight? I learned that Anthony Rendon has the BEST BENT ARM swing in all of MLB. That's what I learned tonight.

Ain't easy. I swear if I were a Nats fan and I tuned in after the game to listen to post-game, I would have no idea who won the game if I hadn't checked the score.

There is no such thing as a box score in Nats post game after a loss. Especially tonight when they can spend 30 minutes on that amazing bent arm swing that Rendon has.
