I'm very surprised by such a good deal.

We should call up Reed now, and put him in left. I read that Miguel is really really mad, which is always no fun but he gives us a catcher that can actually throw.

      And big Ben is gone.

An M fan here and im excited about this trade. We get some nice young talent offensive talent on this team finally. Hopefully we're not done dealing. Moyer looks like he might be next moving out. And hopefully we can get even more young prospects. Im excited about our teams future. This season was long gone a long time ago anyway

Thank you Mariner fans for raining on my parade. I was happy with this trade, now I wish it hadn't happened

If the Sox can sign Garcia its a good deal for both teams. But if he is just a few month rental, the Sox gave up way too much, and it is a steal for the M's.

Couldn't agree more. Loaiza isn't as good as he was last year, and Buehrle will probably never be an ace.

Yeah. Garcia is easily - and I mean easily - the best pitcher on that staff now. Loaiza is very overated because of his fluke season last year - I don't know where that came from, but I know it's gone. He's 8-3 this year, but only because of the ChiSox offense. If he was on, say, the Mariners, he'd probably be about 2-9.

You guys won't be disapointed with Garcia.

Nasty slider, nasty changeup, nasty curveball. He's clutch in the playoffs and he looks like his old self.

And he is your best pitcher, no doubt.
