If I'm Arizona I trade RJ to the Mets for Scott Kazmir and Victor Diaz. Well I'm a Mets fan, so of course I would do that.

Re: Big Unit to Boston????
I just don't see any real great prospects the Yankees can give up.
Navarro? Cano? The Yankees farm system, from what I've been reading,
is pretty bare.
It's a wonder that folks are still willing to talk trade with the Yankees.
I don't imagine Steinbrenner being too popular with the other owners, so why
would other teams risk wanting to see the Yankees with the championship?Comment

I'd love to see the Big Unit at Shea. The Mets have a lot more prospects than the Yankees
do to get the trade done. It's a matter of what the D-Backs want, and if the Unit would
accept the trade, which I doubt.
It'd be nice but I think the Mets are better served to try to get some relief pitching.
Stanton and Franco are done and have been done for awhile.Comment

Re: Big Unit to Boston????
Johnson would not accept a trade to the Mets for the same reason he does not want to go to the Angels-he does not know if they are going to make the playoffs. Which really only leaves the Yankees and the Cardinals as potential destinations. I think there is a good chance Johnson stays put in Arizona, Diamond Backs management has said all along that they did not want to trade Johnson, i think right now they are just looking to see what they could get for him, which they are finding out is not as much as they would like. also it may come down to what they get in return for Steve Finley, if and when he gets traded they will have a better idea of what they will want to get for Johnson.Comment

Because the Yankees are one of the few teams that will take on huge contracts. Most other teams, they won't take on as much of the contract that the Yankees will. So a team just looking to dump salary will trade with the Yankees so they can get rid of most of it, or the entire thing.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment
