I swear to God, there has to be SOME kind of curse that's making Bonds be left on deck for San Francisco every game... like this game for example. And I don't even want to TELL you how, you can see it on Sportscenter tonight (that is, as long as they show the highlight, rather than showing squirrels).

Okay, that has had to be about 13 times this year that Bonds was left on deck for San Francisco, whether or not they came out in the win column or the loss column.

I know how you feel, when Klesko was going good in 2002... against the Rockies (who at that time had Jose Jiminez, who Klesko just crushed constantly) he'd end up on the on-deck circle with the hitter in front of him with the tying/going-ahead run/s on base...

BTW, I'll make it official here, San Diego is officially dead from the playoff race.

If he were to do it anywhere other than San Francisco, I would very much like it to be Los Angeles. I mean, you can say all you want about how much they hate the Giants, but they LOVE Barry Bonds. In January, Dodger Stadium sold out the right field bleachers for the last 3 games of the year, in that final Giants/Dodgers series, because that was when they could've had their best shot at getting Bonds' 700th.

That's how much they want it and love him.

Dodger fans just might hate Barry Bonds more than the Giants as a whole....
