I could make a case for a dozen pitchers.....and nobody would be "wrong" per se.....but I think Pedro is underrated....maybe more overlooked really.
Truth be told....it's probably Walter Johnson hands down if you get to it. Maddux has to be in that talk as well.

I have heard commentary on Pedro in the past year or so, that he was arguably the greatest pitcher at his peak. And TBH I agree, my everlasting moment of Pedro is the '99 ASG, where he struck out 5 of the 6 guys he faced. He started out with Ks against Larkin, Larry Walker, Sosa all in the top of the first. In the second he K'ed McGwire, and Jeff Bagwell. He was the first pitcher to strike out the first 3 batters in an ASG.

Re: Who is your starting 9 of all-time?

Hard to argue against Pedro. I mean this really was a catch-22 question as I could a hundred starting pitchers who were or could be considered the greatest at one point or another.

It is a shame one of them will never be a HOF'er, that being Clemens.

Clemens will be a HOF'er, even if it is after he is dead.

                        ....would probably be my lineup.

Of course, if we construct the list of "favorites" instead of "best," this list would look a bit different.

That's a fine line, at least in my opinion. I know there are people who sometimes confuse the lines. I know I certainty have in the past when asked to give my take on the best ever, it is just natural I suppose.
