That wasn't even a bad pitch to Jones, he just turned on it and destroyed it.

Before todays game, the O's allowed 9 runs in their first series of the season.

        4 innings into todays game...allowed 10!

Cubs still in usual form, leave the bases loaded in the 2nd.

Really making Matzek work hard, at least.

Anthony Rizzo's already been HBP 3 times this year. Twice today in 2 at-bats.

Loaded again in the 3rd, this time with nobody out. It'll be tough to get nothing this time, but let's see if the Cubs are up to the task!

Olt grounds 3rd to home, 1 down.

Sac fly for Szczur (did I actually spell that right?), 1-1.

This will be first time ever that Jays have ruined 2 teams home openers lol.

What a Mark Buehrle game lol. Jays scored 11 runs, and game still took less than 3 hours to complete.

Too bad all pitchers couldn't have games as quick as Buehrle. No need to care about pace of play with that. Games would take 2-2.5hrs most of the time! If it goes 3,it's cause of lots of run scoring and/or extra innings.

Why on Earth is he in the game? The team has played 2 games in 4 days.. it's not like the bullpen is tired.

I guess it doesn't matter all that much since the Cubs haven't figured out how to drive in runs yet.

After Olt's groundout, I was sure they would get none. Szczur seems to be the only player having consistently good ABs today.

Castro is doing his best to prove TK right. That was a little-league error.

Supposedly he was working on a splitter but all I see are a bunch of fastballs and the occasional slider.

Billy Hamilton obviously in John Lackey's head, causes him to do the whirl to 2nd move....while Hamilton was on first. Most obvious balk ever.

And Votto makes it irrelevant anyway by depositing one in the LF seats.

Cincinnati park is not fair. That was a just a lazy fly ball out that Votto hit for his second Homerun.
