How could we have such a great bullpen to suddenly terrible? Kimbrel surely is not the reason. It's odd we have the 5th least IP of any bullpen but the 2nd worst ERA in MLB...all these stupid free passes kill us (3rd in MLB in that as well).
I wonder how much blame hits McDowell? What about Perez (bullpen coach)? I mean, it's outrageous and needs to be addressed. I've never seen so many runs given up in the 7-9 inning.Originally posted by Gibson88Comment

It isn't Kimbrel because all of the runs are being scored 6-8. And as I type this make it 6 runs.
It's a bullpen that has zero control, hence all of the walks. Add in a manager who is against changing pitchers mid inning despite their performance and you have what should be ranked the worst bullpen in baseball after tonight in terms of ERA. Fredi does absolutely nothing in terms of managing matchups. That and the walks kill any chance of success.
Should this score hold up, the Braves will be 0-3 in the last 3 games despite scoring 6+ runs in each. 22 runs in 3 games and 0 wins because of the bullpen's woes.Last edited by canes21; 06-05-2015, 10:02 PM.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

They know they want to give Matz a look.
