I heard on Baseball Tonight that if the Marlins dont make it to Yankee Stadium tommorow they will be forced to forfeit the game. Can anyone explain why???

First, it's the Devil Rays.
2nd, I guess because apparantly they had a chance to leave before the hurricane, but decided to stay. Last I heard though, they pushed the first game back to 3:00 instead of 1:00 to give them more time.Originally posted by Jay Bilas -

I think the Dodgers had to forfiet a game against I believe the Phillies, might have been the Reds, because fans threw a bunch of baseballs on the field....it was a baseball giveaway night.Comment

I was wrong, it was the Cardinals who the Dodgers forfieted against because of the balls on the field.
Its funny how you remember just vague parts of what happened. I mean I barely remember anything about the game like what caused the fans throwing the balls on the field, but I did however remember the opposition being a team with red uniforms(I said Phillies or Reds, it was actually Cardinals).Comment
