Cubs drop tonight to Indians pitchers who struck out 8 out of the last 10 outs or something crazy.

It's funny how the Cubs score 17 then strike out a ton the next game. Hopefully they should sweep Minnesota.

Indians play the Tigers thus weekend I believe, tigers should see both Kluber and Bauer

Bauer starting to pitch to his potential in Cleveland

Eh, I wouldn't say it's worse than Bobby V but it's getting there.

Interesting series this weekend with the O's coming to town. The Jays have played really well against them this season but that was when Baltimore was really hurting and Wieters makes a HUGE difference behind the plate. We shall see how it plays out. It would be nice to create some separation.

I will explain why I would rather Valentine over Farrell. During one of the 2 games in Atlanta, I think it was Wednesday night's game, there was a situation where he had 2 outs and first base open and the #8 hitter Pedro Ciriaco was up. He decides to pitch him. Also, I don't know if it was Farrell or Betts doing it on his own. But with no outs Betts was the 7 hitter he dropped down a bunt to advance runners over. Then the Braves pitched around Swihart to get to the pitcher. Also he had another thing in the WS where he didn't pinch hit for Workman. I forget the situation though. But he can't manage in an NL park. At least Valentine could manage in the NL.

Red Sox officially release LHP Cody Kukuk, who on June 9 was sentenced to 3 1/2 years in prison on three felony counts, including robbery.

Dee Gordon can become the 1st player to 100 hits tonight. Currently sitting at 99.

I think the series will just come down to pitching.

In their 9 games so far, 5 of them Jays have scored 7+ runs. But 7 of them O's scored 5+ runs. Though Jays winning series 6-3.

Cardinals brought the rally squirrel from 2011 back for their series against the Phillies. Thing climbed up the netting behind home plate, walked across the wire and jumped into the Phillies dugout. Just another bad omen in this Phillies season.

So far Matt Wisler looks pretty sharp...he throws really easy gas and even his max effort pitches look 'easy'. The thing that has impressed me the most so far is his ability to change speeds...really nice.

I really think this game Wisler is turning is the best start by any Braves starter this year...pretty unbelievable what he's done tonight.

Wisler looks nice. Maybe I shouldn't have traded him away in The Show.
