Who from Arizona had that weird fever thing several years back?

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

You talking Conor Jackson? The 1Bman? Wasn't it 'valley fever' or something weird?

He is I think. The A's like players getting players who have had valley fever. They got Jackson from the dbacks and Ike Davis had it a couple years ago too.

Brian Dozier had a walk-off HR last night. Quietly leading AL 2B in XBH and R 2nd in OPS. Will probably end up as the biggest ASG snub.

Valley fever is common in AZ and can linger for long periods of time. My little brother got it 3 years ago and still has some effects from it.

Cards are having a moment in the 8th inning, after climbing back to a single-run deficit.

6-2 Cubs now. Another game still to play today.

Cubs needed that W with STL sitting a few regulars. Hopefully they can come back in the night-cap and get another.

Paulo Orlando with a walk off grand slam. First at bat with the bases loaded in his career. Still dont like DFA a guy with a 1.54 ERA. But it was sure worth it right now.

Frasor has some pretty bad advanced stats, and walked alot. Not a bad DFA, IMO.

Ha, seeing the Pirates players help with the tarp brought me back to my college baseball days. Don't miss doing that.

Nice start from Dallas Beeler, but the Cardinals 'gon Cardinal (And by that, I mean hit seeing eye singles and get hits with RISP--not hack into other teams' databases).

Now that's something you don't see everyday.

Addy Russell hits a spinning grounder with hair on it that may have originally bounced foul but spun back fair (and was ruled fair by the 1B ump as it bounced down the RF line) for a game-tying RBI single and Seth Maness gets the heave ho arguing the call. I will take it.

Tonight was the kind of win the Jays needed after last night. Great outing by Doubront and the Jays win scoring less than 5 runs and the pen got it done.
