Good extra inning win for the Pirates. It went from "Wow, Gorky missing second and causing the Pirates to loose will replace the Butt Fumble on Sportscenter's Not Top 10" to "wow, we won the game". Happy for Guerra, great story.

I've only used the word unsustainable like once. Anyways Keuchle is good not taking anything away from him. But his extremely low BABIP is concerning. I don't think he's a sub 2 ERA pitcher, sub 3 but not sub 2, very few are.

In other news Montgomery continues his dominance taking a no no into the 7th. Lets see if he continues his success his 2nd time through the league. We have some decisions to make once Iwakuma and Paxton return. I expect Elias, and Nuno to be optioned and Happ to move to the pen but of coarse Jack Z will likely make the wrong choice.

Bonilla's $29.8 million buyout that he will receive from the Mets thru 2035 was part of a contract that he played a total of 60 GAMES for.

Also instead of taking a lump sum payment like most athletes do these days Bonilla did deferred payments which will be disbursed until 2035.

Walker may be the hottest pitcher in baseball the last 3 or 4 weeks, other than perhaps Keuchel. And contrary to what his name would have you believe, he is not walking anyone either. 3 walks his last 6 games very good for a young pitcher. After his 1st 3 games I never would have thought this possible. Does he still have rookie eligibility? If he does he may sneak into the ROTY conversation if he keeps up this pace.
