So the Braves made me angry for the second time this year...1st and 3rd w/1-out in the 9th of a scoreless game, a game you should win and need to win, and you put together two crappy, crappy at bats and then implode in the 10th. First time all year I've actually thrown things...

      Justin Verlander got shelled again.

His extension is looking like the Ryan Howard contract for pitchers.

I'm not sure what Uribe was thinking hacking at those first two pitches in the dirt.

Never thought this would ever be said about Verlander. Sad to see his implosion, hopefully he gets it together.

He swings at two crappy pitches and then swings through a hanger for strike three...just an awful at bat. He's actually played pretty well for the Braves, but you have to have a better at bat from him and Ciriaco there. It's the pitcher who's in trouble and they both bailed him out by swinging early and often.

Exactly. Trade him while his value is this high. Now.

Also I have a feeling he is going to fall off a cliff soon ie 2013. Literally the Cy Young of the first half of the season then he never pitched after the ASB.

Yea, I don't see Ben doing that, especially with a comeback looming for us. We need him now, as he's the only somewhat stable starter (well, maybe E-Rod as well). For Now...

Phil Cuzzi seems like he sucks. Not to mention the horrible strikezone tonight.

The exit speed of hit balls by Harper is astounding.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Even though it was in a loss, Ervin Santana pitched well in his debut yesterday. If he pitches well, the Twins will be in contention for the playoffs into September. Feels good man.

I applaud your optimism but no way does this team have a comeback in them.

Smart move is to trace Clay now before he falls off again or his value diminishes. Not that the team will do that. But they should.

Yea Alex Speier had a note in a column that in order to finish with 88 wins, they need to finish the year 49-28, which is a .628 winning %. It's highly unlikely that this team can do that.

Cano has been fighting a stomach ailment since last August. He was diagnosed with a parasite was given meds, but still has acid reflux. That would explain a lot.
