      Look at it this way, if the Phils bottom out for 3-4 seasons they may turn out like the Astros and Rays.

      Of course, they'll need a competent GM at the helm.

        There is no chance in hell that Amaro is still the GM after this season. Andy MacPhail can't be that stupid to keep him on.

              With one out away from winning and up 2 Rosenthal gave up 4 hits and a 4 pitch walk to end the game.

                  This Cardinals/Pirates series was the best of the year so far, IMO...just thrilling baseball.

                    Going on a 14-57 stretch in baseball is really, really hard to do. Even a replacement-level team would be expected to win more than 19% of their games over a 71 game period.

                    FanGraphs projects them to lose 104 games. They're unloading Hamels at the deadline, so you can probably add a couple more losses to the projection. I'd set the over/under at 105 losses.
