There's no way they can send down Schwarbs when Montero gets back. Can't do it.

Nice job Phillies. Couldn't get a single run for your new prospect who did an outstanding job in his debut.

I'm so ****ing done watching them this year.

Wow, Schwarber just killed that ball to tie the game up 4-4. Guy's got an incredible presence at the plate.

No doubt that Schwarber's bat could play anywhere on the diamond (even 1B if we didn't have Rizzo), but I would say the point about Schwarber's defense is pretty accurate. He's ok at framing..nothing particularly amazing, but where he struggles is with dexterity and his 1st throw from behind the plate in the bigs went into centerfield. The thing I notice most about Schwarber is that it almost looks painful for him getting into his crouch. He's just a big, thickly built guy and it's tough for him to be nimble at all back there.

The rookie is one cutch dude. One heck of a game he's had with those two blasts.

Crazy to think we drafted this guy last June.

If he's gonna keep doing this, he can catch with a skillet back there for all I care.

Nice to see the Jays offense breakout a bit. Donaldson gets an RBI against his old team too

                        7-1 Jays in the 7th.

How's a .410/.439/.744 line for him through his first 39 ABs?

Len Kasper is right to mention this as the "Schwarber Game"

It'll change within next 20 or so mins, but weird looking at AL East standings and seeing Rays,Jays,O's all at .500 with diff win totals. Rays 48-48,Jays 47-47,O's 46-46.

A's try to appeal to 1st on a check swing and Wendalstat (sp?) is too busy chatting with the 1st base coach during the pitch and swing to answer.

Lloyd McClendon is such an idiot. He keeps putting Rodney in high leveraged situations. He is like the Forrest Gump of managers but without the charm.
