        He was playing 2nd base tonight.

        Damn, tough to lose after that 9th inning comeback. But at least this team is fun to watch again.

            Feels like he's been gone the whole year with injury or something. I don't recall hearing his name any and I watch MLB tonight often.

                He has been a bit quiet. He was out 6 weeks with knee surgery and took a good 100 AB to get going after coming back.

                    Knew Cano's struggles wouldn't last. He had an unlucky 1st half, with a BAPIB of 40 points lower than his career averages. In other words even if he has an average BAPIB year he's hitting .300. Even so, he is still top 5 in doubles. Also doesn't hurt he had 2 HR and 4 RBI vs the Yankees. Everything evens out eventually.

                            Lester had a really nice start but ran out of gas in the 8th in that wicked humidity. It figures that A.J. Pierzynski would be the one to break up the no no....where's Michael Barrett's right hand when you need it?

                                                    Wonder if Verlander's long-term future is in the bullpen at this point.

                                                    Seems like the kind of guy who really needs the velocity bump that comes with being a reliever. He would probably be an awesome closer.
